A Nightmare of the Barren Land in the Long Night

It was a dark and windy night, and I lay in bed, gradually falling into sleep. However, this was not an ordinary dream, but a nightmare about a barren land in the long night.

In the dream, I found myself in an endless barren land. There was no vegetation, no water source, only endless sand dunes and exposed rocks. The sky was covered by thick clouds, and even the moonlight could not penetrate this dark veil.

I tried to find a way out, but no matter where I went, it seemed like I was just going in circles. The surroundings were silent, with only the sound of the wind and occasional strange noises that made my hair stand on end.

Suddenly, a piercing cold wind blew through, and I felt a strong sense of unease. I looked up and saw a vague figure slowly rising on the horizon. It was a tall and terrifying figure, like a messenger of the night, carrying endless malice and despair.

I wanted to run away, but my legs felt as heavy as lead. I ran with all my might, but I could never get rid of that terrifying figure. It got closer and closer until I could clearly see its face - a pale and distorted face with cold light shining in its eyes.
